The Meharry Addiction Center works to improve the quality of life for people and reduce the stigma around addiction. We partner with people who use drugs to provide confidential care, including medications to support recovery, along with harm reduction services while honoring their autonomy and right to make decisions about their care with no questions and no stigma.

Next door to Nashville General Hospital. Enter through the sliding doors of the round building, which is the Meharry Clinic Building and take the elevator located in the waiting area to the third floor. Parking will be validated.

Frequently asked questions
We understand sometimes that appointments are not always convenient in this journey. Although we do have appointments, we also have walk-in services available Monday to Friday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm.
Yes, although we accept insurance that may have a copay, we also accept patients who do not have insurance at zero cost.
No, there are no referrals required for our services.
